Brandan and I have been watching the show "Sons of Anarchy" for a few weeks now, and any of you who are motorcycle enthusiasts really need to check it out. Not only is it full of action, violence, and awesome bikes for the guys, Charlie Hunman (Jax Teller, main character) is any girls guilty pleasure, hot, dirty, and a bad boy, just the type your mom told you to stay away from. :) So... in honor of this amazing show and the fabulous biker fashions adorned on it I give you our first I Want That items...While Wendy (Jax's druggy ex-wife) may not make the best choices in extra curricular activities she makes great choices when it comes to accessories! In season 1 episode 11 (pictures shown below) Wendy comes in with a supremely awesome black leather studded bag with fringe that hangs all the way to the floor! Now to some this may seem a little over the top (who needs fringe that long...I do!), but hey give people a reason to look at you. :)
Finding this took a little digging, and unfortunately couldn't find the exact purse but was able to find a few really good substitutes! Here they are pictured below along with links of where to buy them:

DeleteIt looks like most of her turquoise jewelry is true vintage, including her amazing earrings. Similiar ones can be found on etsy, but they aren't cheap! I have a pair I paid $150 for because that was actually a good deal! Try searching Zuni or Hopi vintage turquoise earrings...
ReplyDeleteI did some research and found the purse is Steve Madden "on the fringe" you can find it on poshmark but they're not sold in stores. I just bought it today. As for the earrings they're made from Morgana, Charlie hunnams girlfriend but her website Maison de Morgana is not active right now. But a lot of the jewelery from SOA was made by her.

DeleteThat person was mistaken. The Steve Madden ‘ on the fringe ‘ purse is the one that Wendy carried in season 5, ep 11, not the one that this post is referring to with the extra long fringe. That being said, if the Steve Madden purse still interests you, sometimes you can find that one on Poshmark.

DeleteI have been wondering about the long fringed bag as well. No signs of what brand it is. There are 2, actually, the one from the show and another black leather one with red roses on the front and fringe just as long as (if not longer than) the one from the show. After looking at several pictures of her both in and out of character, it appears that they are both her own personal bags and the brown one happened to fit in with her character on SOA. Still looking, tho. If you're looking for a bag with really super long fringe, google image "Raviani New Western Hobo Long Fringe Bag". Amazing. Cheaper on Poshmark than on Ebay, tho. Just got one for $80 (used). The fringe is soooooo long.
