Yet another guilty pleasure of mine...The Vampire Diaries on CW. I admit the show is pretty cheesy but come on the clothes are AWESOME, which is reason enough for me to watch it religiously! That and apparently my taste in shows didn't evolve past my 16th birthday. :) Lot's of "wants" from this show so I am sure you will see future Vampire Diaries themed posts in the future especially with the new season starting next month so I will try to keep this one short and sweet. Unfortunately the items I want the most from this show are also the most expensive so I will post the exact match and also a suitable "budget minded" option for those of us not rolling in the dough! :)

Both Elena/Katherine and Caroline (to be shown in later posts) are a toss up for best fashion on the show in my opinion. I love this show because most of what they wear is in current style and realistic for someone to wear on a daily basis. Probably because they are high school kids from a small town not super rich trust fund babies ala Gossip Girl and 90201 (Gossip Girl posts to come later :)) So... on to the finds!

Boots are always a great closet staple no matter what year it is, and a great pair of boots can last you season after season so don't be afraid to shell out a little more dough for the perfect pair. However if you aren't ready to make a boot commitment that costs you around $200 stick to faux leather and you can still find some awesome styles as shown below. Pair these with your favorite skinny jeans and you have the perfect outfit to find a handsome vampire to suck your blood, or just buy you dinner, whichever your into I guess... ;)

Not only should one great leather jacket be another staple in your closet (yet another great fashion trend that doesn't ever seem to go out of style) but this one has some excellent detailing that set it apart. Absolutely love the rouched sleeves and mandarin collar, plus the slightly cropped design is right on point with current trends.

Though my husband will never admit to this he was watching the show with me one night and spotted these boots on Damon and had to have them. I spent the next few months looking for a good replica because the actual pair are a little more pricey than what he wanted to spend, although with all of the great things I am reading about this Frye brand I may have to save up and buy myself a pair (women's of course)!

This is your basic men's harness boot made famous by motorcycle enthusiasts and now vampires. This style has been popping up all over the place along with it's female counterpart and is a must have in even the most fashionably close minded men's closets. Added bonus, if your man is a little short, this will give him at least two inches in height so he won't have to lie to match his drivers license anymore!
Budget friendly option
I ended up buying the pair pictured above (budget friendly option) for my husband for father's day, he loves them and wears them all the time and if I do say so myself looks pretty F-I-N-E fine in them! ;) With that we close the blogging for today, until next time happy wanting!
